Two New Jersey congressmen are calling for new steps to safely reopen schools.
Reps. Josh Gottheimer and Tom Malinowski wrote a letter to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention outlining their plan.
They want teachers to be vaccinated and to ensure schools optimize testing procedures.
The plan also sets quarantine guidelines.
Gottheimer and Malinowski also say consistent guidance from the CDC would be helpful.
