A breast cancer survivor is taking her experience and giving back to others who are now going through the illness.

News 12’s Karina Gerry spoke with Monique Bass about her nonprofit organization “What’s Behind the Bar” as Breast Cancer Awareness Month begins.

The next “What’s Behind the Bar” event will take place on Oct. 27 in West Orange.
