20ds agoNew Jersey is trying to break Connecticut’s record for the world’s largest pizza party.
The Boys and Girls Club of Newark is partnering with Papa John’s to get into the “Guinness Book of World Records” for the largest pizza party.
It is all in an effort to steal the title from New Haven, Connecticut.
The group is hosting the party at the Prudential Center.
Connecticut just broke the record 10 days ago with 4,525 people in attendance. New Jersey is hoping to double that record.
About 10,000 people have registered to attend New Jersey’s party. They have until 8:30 p.m. to beat the record.
