New Excelsior Pass Plus app extends beyond New York jurisdiction
Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office says a new app, Excelsior Pass Plus, will be released. They say it works like the regular Excelsior Pass, but will partner with other states, businesses -- even countries -- to allow for more seamless travel and tourism.

Excelsior Pass Plus users can upload their credentials and fly on American Airlines to several countries, as a featured example.
