The $40 million building houses a new state-of-the-art auditorium, which seats 325 people and plenty of open and airy spaces.

The $40 million building houses a new state-of-the-art auditorium, which seats 325 people and plenty of open and airy spaces.
Officials say it's a wonderful Valentine's Day gift for the people of New Canaan.
"It's a great symbol of the love the community has for the library and the library has for the community," said Lisa Oldham, executive director of New Canaan Library.
Oldham says there is a quiet floor on the upper level so people can work remotely.
