Streaming giant Netflix has placed a bid on the "Mega Parcel" in Fort Monmouth.

The "Mega Parcel" may be the next Netflix production facility.

The 289-acre shuttered Army base became available last July.

Other companies have bid on the base.

Any development will preserve the parade grounds, World War II Memorial and Cowan Park.
