A Neptune City police officer is facing cyber harassment and hindering charges.

Damien Broschart is accused of sending sexually suggestive texts to an 18-year-old female he had arrested.

He allegedly brought her back to her car after she was processed and released, and deactivated his body camera before asking for her number.

Broschart has been suspended without pay.
