Nearly 20 people were displaced after a fire ripped through several buildings in Paterson.
The fire started around 8:30 a.m. Friday near River and Lyons streets. Officials said the fire started in a liquor store and then spread to nearby apartment buildings.
Officials said that firefighters were pulled out of the structure as flames ripped through the attic and before the roof collapsed.
