Not only is it Friday, it's actually National Mac and Cheese Day and here at News. Well, we're ready to dig in. Yeah, we're joined by Alka, west of Madre and Sons Soul Food Cafe in Newark. And we've been digging into the four cheese mac and cheese, five cheese. Don't forget it. The, the food is great. What, what did you bring? We have five cheese mac and cheese. And what's this one here? This is, um, buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese. One cheese cheese. But you got buffalo chicken in there and, and some buffalo. Yeah, that looks good. So when you think about soul food, I automatically go right to Mac and Cheese. What other items do you have at the restaurant? Um, you have candy s collard greens, cabbage, um, oxtails turkey wings, turkey chops, meatballs, ribs. Yeah, we, yeah, we have it a lot to choose from. I, I wonder who, who's coming in people in the neighborhood is their business from, you know, downtown businesses. Is that having a role as well? Yeah. So we open late. So usually it's people from the neighborhood because, um, the downtown business area they go on lunch about 12 o'clock. We open at two o'clock, 2 30. So it's mainly dinner because it's heavy. Fool. So you eat that on your lunch, but you won't take a nap. It's kind of like our lunch break right now. Right. We can't, you know, have you here and not try what we, we've had, we had some before, obviously, but I'm gonna take an opportunity to have a little more as well. Yeah, I, this was amazing. The buffalo mac and cheese was great. I love the regular mac and cheese, but I love a good variety, but you have to do it right. And this is, this is done right, in my opinion.
