Students at Caldwell University got a visit from a New Jersey legend.
Grammy award-winning singer Dionne Warwick was part of a special Black history program. She was interviewed by senior Kayla Moses – president of the Caldwell Black Student Union and president of the campus chapter of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority.
Warwick told the students, “If you can think it, you can do it.”
The school declared Feb. 21 as Dionne Warwick Day at the university.
Her appearance was hosted by the university's Educational Opportunity Fund Program.
