Gov. Phil Murphy on Friday made his last major announcement of his eight-year tenure as governor of New Jersey.
He said the state will partner with NVIDIA to drive innovation and artificial intelligence, aiming to bring together government, research universities and community colleges. In addition, the governor added that New Jersey legislators approved an investment of $25 million to support a statewide supercomputer initiative for institutions of higher education.
The collaboration equips students, researchers and entrepreneurs with high-tech tools needed to explore new possibilities in generative AI.
