Thieves hit dorm rooms Tuesday afternoon at Rutgers University.

Campus police said multiple rooms in Livingston Apartments Building B were burglarized.

But police did not disclose how many rooms were hit, or the items that were taken.

They also said the rooms were "unsecured."
