A Mount Arlington family that lost its home in a fire is finding out just how supportive its community is.
A fast-moving fire destroyed the May family?s home Thursday. The family of nine was able to escape the flames with only clothes. Now, the community has launched a campaign to help the Mays out.
The Atkins Development Company donated a three-bedroom home free of charge for the next three months. The town?s volunteer fire department has also been delivering clothing donations. The Mays are focusing on furnishing their temporary home and getting their lives back together.
