A Mount Holly police officer rescued a driver from a burning vehicle following a rollover wreck on Route 38 at the South Avenue exit late last night.

The officer sustained burns on his hands during the rescue operation.

The crash involved two drivers, both of whom were transported to the hospital for treatment.
