The woman who police say threw her baby off a bridge in Perth Amboy then jumped in has died.
Doctors at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick will not say when 24-year-old Jerlisa Contrares died, but she was listed in critical condition early Saturday. Contrares? 18-month-old daughter did not survive the fall off the Victory Bridge, but crews found the child in the Raritan River.
Relatives say they are overcome with grief and cannot talk about their loss.Related Information
