New Jersey will see mostly sunny and dry weather that will last through the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Storm Watch Team meteorologists say a heat wave is possible next week.

WHAT’S NEXT: Forecasters are still tracking the tropics and possible impacts of Franklin and Idalia this week. Rough surf and large swells are the most significant impact. The second full moon of the month – will bring exceptionally high tides to the Jersey Shore. A coastal flooding advisory is in place from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. Thursday.
