Skies briefly showed some sunshine this afternoon. However, with a cold front slowly moving towards the state, clouds will generally begin to cover things up again. Rain chances are minimal for Friday, but if we do see some spritzes and sprinkles, then southern areas of New Jersey have the best chance to see it. Nothing soaking, more of an annoyance.
TONIGHT: Overcast and seasonable chilly Low: 44 degrees.
FRIDAY: Mainly cloudy. A spotty shower is possible from Trenton to Forked River and points south. North of Interstate 78, mainly cloudy with brief moments of sun towards the end of the day. High: 55 degrees (Normal is 57.)
FRIDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear, breezy and cooler. Lows dipping into the 30s.
SATURDAY: Nothing but sunshine. High: 53 degrees.
SUNDAY: Even more sunshine, but a touch cooler. Very autumnal. High: 47 degrees.
COMING UP: Quiet and chilly. Temperatures are trending a few degrees cooler than the seasonable average. No big storms to track just yet.
