A Morris County software developer, who prosecutors say led a "double life" as a terrorist spy, has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison.
46-year-old Alexei Saab of Morristown was convicted of receiving military-type training from Hezbollah's Islamic Jihad organization as well as making false statements.
Saab was arrested in 2019 after prosecutors say he photographed landmarks in New York, Boston and Washington, D.C., for possible terrorist attacks between 2000 and 2005.
