Police in Morris County are asking for the public?s help to catch a serial bank robber.Police say a middle-aged man has been walking into banks from Springfield to Morris Township, handing the teller a note and walking out with cash. They say he has robbed at least eight banks in Morris, Essex and Union counties. The last robbery took place last week at Commerce Bank in Morris Township on Madison Avenue. Police say no one has been hurt during any of the robberies but they say the robber is getting more brazen each time. They say he hasn't shown a weapon but has threatened to use one.Police are hoping to stop his crime spree by posting flyers around North Western New Jersey. Police think the suspect is a local resident. Anyone with information contact the Morris County Crime Stoppers or the FBI.
