An uproar has kicked up at Montclair State University after the student newspaper published a comic strip that uses a racial slur to describe Barack Obama.
Students at the school say they were outraged and offended when the cartoon ran, which prompted an e-mail apology sent out Tuesday by the newspaper's editor.
Montclair State University officials say the comic strip, "The K Chronicles," is a syndicated cartoon and has no affiliation with the school.
