The Monroe College men's hoops team was looking to avenge a recent loss to Globe Institute when the teams met again Monday.
The Mustangs took control early on, with Dashaun Williams nailing a three-point shot. Monroe led by seven at halftime. Globe would not go quietly though. Darren Townes scored 16 points, helping his team take a two-point lead. The game was tied at 54 at one point.
Globe eventually pulled away for a close 77-74 win.
