Mondelēz Global LLC has conducted a voluntary recall of two varieties of belVita breakfast sandwich products sold nationwide due to undeclared peanut allergen.
Mondelēz says two varieties of belVita Breakfast Sandwich products were recalled due to cross-contact on a single manufacturing line.
Both varieties recalled, Dark Chocolate Creme and Cinnamon Brown Sugar with Vanilla Creme, have a best when used by date prior to and including Feb. 25, 2024. Check the retail UPC here.
The company says no other belVita products, or markets outside the United States are included in or affected by the recall. The company also says the recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
