The body of a missing swimmer has been found off the coast of Sandy Hook.
A park ranger found the body of 25-year-old Andros Vega-Pena Friday morning. Helicopters and boats were called away from the search Thursday.
Vega-Pena was last seen in distress Wednesday night while swimming with friends. No lifeguards were on duty at the time.
Several of the parking lots at Sandy Hook were closed to be used as staging areas for the search.
