A metal beam fell and killed a construction worker Tuesday morning in Middlesex, police say.
Authorities say they responded to Diamond Brite Metals on Cedar Avenue for a reported forklift accident at 7:17 a.m.
According to police, 46-year-old Jimmy Parrales Mora, of North Plainfield, was found unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities from the United States Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are assisting local police with the investigation.
