The mayor of Middlesex is stepping down amid charges of theft and official misconduct.
Mayor Ronald Dimura is accused of stealing $190,000 from political campaigns.
The prosecutor says it happened all while he was Treasurer for the Middlesex Borough Democratic Campaign Committee.
