Metallica took over MetLife Stadium this weekend for a two-day concert. Bassist Robert Trujillo wore an Elizabeth Fire EMS shirt during their set. A few months ago, he was in Elizabeth signing autographs when an Emergency Medical Technician gave him one of her shirts as a gift.
What films raked in the cash this weekend and which movies got left behind? "Oppenheimer" slipped to third on ticket sales of $28.7 million for a domestic total of $229 million. "Meg two: The Trench" surfaced in second place. The massive mega-shark sequel sank its teeth into $30 million. “Barbie” remains on top for third straight week. The film starring Margot Robbie as the iconic doll made another $53 million, giving it a domestic total of $459 million - and topping $1 billion worldwide.
