A memorial has been set up by family and friends on the Passaic Street Bridge that separates Garfield and Passaic to remember the 10-year-old boy whose body was recovered from the Passaic River earlier this week.
Meanwhile, the search for a 10-year-old girl, who went into the water with him, will continue Friday morning.
Divers searched all day Thursday for the girl but did not find her.
The two, along with the boy’s 11-year-old sister, went into the water early Wednesday evening, accessing a boat ramp in Passaic's Dundee Island Park.
The 11-year-old managed to get back to shore.
The search is expected to resume at 6:00 a.m.
