Police say that a domestic dispute may have led to the fatal stabbing of a Bronx woman.
Authorities say they responded to a home on Astor Avenue in Pelham Gardens Sunday afternoon and found 57-year-old Cynthia Migliozzi lying unresponsive on the floor.
They say she had a puncture wound to her armpit and left shoulder, and that a pair of bloody scissors were found near her body.
Migliozzi was transported to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Police have charged her husband, Martin Migliozzi, with his wife's murder.
Neighbors say the couple has a grown son who recently moved in. Police say they have responded to past domestic disputes at the home and say the majority of the disturbances involved the husband.
Migliozzi is charged with murder in the second degree, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
