A dog was abandoned and tossed over a fence in front of an animal shelter in Atlantic City in the middle of the night.

The Humane Society of Atlantic County posted a video on its Facebook page that shows a man walk over from a car with a dog on the leash. He then picks the dog up and drops the pup over the fence and into the yard of the animal shelter on Absecon Boulevard. The dog falls and takes a second to recover before standing up.

The humane society says this is the fourth dog dumped by this person. They say the man drives a black Cadillac sedan.

There’s no word on the dog’s condition. Anyone with information about the incident should contact the ACPD Humane Law Enforcement Officer.

News 12 New Jersey reached out to local police for more information.
