Man hospitalized with head injury following West Windsor crash

Police say the man hit a curb and a tree and then flipped over.

A driver was treated for a head injury following a crash Sunday night in West Windsor Township.
Police say they pulled a 66-year-old man from his car who was entrapped inside his vehicle after a crash that happened around midnight on New Village Road. Authorities say when crews arrived, they found a 2023 Mazda CX5 with heavy damage, disabled in the roadway and lying on its passenger's side.
According to police, the man hit a curb, exited the road and then struck a tree. They say the vehicle overturned onto its side as it reentered the roadway and remained in the westbound lane of New Village Road.
The man was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment for a moderate head injury, authorities say.
New Village Road was closed in the area of the collision for one and a half hours.
