A man from Manahawkin will now spend 90 days behind bars for killing a dog.
Joseph Russo admitted to torturing and killing the animal.
Russo was also ordered to complete an anger management course.
The Pomeranian’s name was Diesel.
It was training to become a certified therapy dog for a Navy veteran.
