A Newark man facing charges for a series of burglaries in Wall Township has been accused of committing a series of burglaries and car thefts in Brick Township.
Police say that Ahmad Singletary committed the crimes over a three-day span in September. He was charged with 13 counts of burglary, six counts of theft and two counts of stealing a motor vehicle.
Authorities also say Singletary was charged with attempted armed burglary for an incident on Royal Drive. Police say two more suspects are at large.
Singletary was arrested on Sept. 25. Police say he was arrested driving a car he allegedly stole in Brick earlier that day.
Police believe Singletary is also responsible for a series of burglaries in Wall Township. Police are still looking for the man they believe is Singletary’s partner in crime, Kevin Yuille, of Elizabeth.
