Man charged with fatally shooting woman, injuring minor in Paulsboro

A Gloucester County man has been accused of killing a woman and wounding a minor during a shooting Saturday in Paulsboro.
Prosecutors say Ramon Luis Acevedo called 911 and admitted to intentionally shooting the woman in the head inside the bedroom of a residence on Elizabeth Avenue.
He also confessed to shooting the minor by accident after becoming startled while still holding the handgun.
The events leading to the incident have yet to be disclosed by authorities.
The relationship between Acevedo and the victims is also unclear.
Prosecutors say he could face 30 years in prison for the offenses.
