Man charged in connection with fatal stabbing of Edison woman

A Middlesex County man has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of an Edison woman.
Prosecutors say 25-year-old Imani Smith was stabbed Sunday morning at a home on Grove Avenue. She died later that day.
Authorities have arrested 35-year-old Jordan Jackson-Small and charged him in connection with her death.
Prosecutors say Jackson-Small and Smith knew each other and that this was not a random act of violence.
Jackson-Small is facing several charges, including murder.
A GoFundMe has been made in honor of Smith to cover funeral expenses, legal fees and to support Smith’s family.
She leaves behind a son and a dog. The fundraiser has raised nearly $40,000.
