Man assaulted, killed another man inside hotel room, police say

Authorities have announced a man is under arrest and charged with the murder of another man inside a hotel room in North Brunswick.

Authorities have announced a man is under arrest and charged with the murder of another man inside a hotel room in North Brunswick.
According to police, Demond Gray, 43, of New Brunswick, was charged with one count of first-degree murder.
Police responded Saturday around 12 p.m. to the Farrington Inn following an emergency call for an unresponsive male. 
Authorities located Abdul Conteh, 60, of Somerset, who showed signs of physical injury. Conteh was later pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation revealed Gray assaulted and killed Conteh inside the hotel room. The cause of death remains undetermined pending the completion of an autopsy.
Gray is presently lodged at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center, where he is being held pending a pre-trial detention hearing in Superior Court.
