East Northport man indicted for murder of grandmother's fiancé, new details released

A man was arrested Saturday for shooting and killing a 34-year-old man in Paterson last month.

Prosecutors say John McFadden, 28, shot and killed Eric Boone on Oct. 1 near Park Avenue and East 22nd Street.

John McFadden currently awaits his first appearance at Central Judicial Processing. He is charged with first degree murder and possession of a handgun. He faces up to life in prison.
