The man accused of killing a Sayreville councilwoman last year made an appearance inside a Middlesex County courtroom.
Rashid Bynum faced a judge on Tuesday. The hearing was largely procedural.
Bynum is accused of killing Eunice Dwumfour outside her Sayreville apartment complex in February 2023. He was arrested in Chesapeake, Virginia in May and extradited to New Jersey in July.
Bynum faces murder and weapons charges.
The next court hearing is scheduled for March 4.
