A Perth Amboy man has been charged in connection with a shooting at a city bar that left six people injured.
The shooting happened in the early morning hours of July 19 near El Patio Bar on the 400 block of Fayette Street.
Authorities say that Alexander Corneil, 27, attempted to shoot a man that he knew who was near the bar. Five bystanders were caught in the gunfire. All of the victims survived the shooting.
Corneil was identified as the shooter and was arrested in the Bronx by members of law enforcement. He faces six counts of attempted murder and weapons charges.
