The iconic Mahwah Sheraton Hotel was imploded on Saturday.

The implosion took place at 7:30 a.m. Roads nearby were closed for a few minutes while the dynamite went off.

The hotel closed in 2023. A town official says the hotel will be replaced with two large warehouses.
