Oldwick in Hunterdon County is home to Melick's Town Farm, where fall flavors are more than a tradition — they're a way of life.

The farm is the largest apple grower in New Jersey, producing more than 20 varieties and letting visitors pick their own.

But the real show happens at the cider mill, where apples are ground, pressed and bottled into fresh cider and hard cider.

Melick's has been farming since 1728, nearly 50 years before the Revolutionary War, and now produces up to 120,000 gallons of cider each year.
