Louisa Carman, Gov. Murphy's aide, dies in Route 1 car crash

Gov. Phil Murphy said Louisa Carman will be remembered as a kind and caring colleague.

Louisa Bradlow Carman, an aide to Gov. Phil Murphy, died after a multivehicle crash in Plainsboro on New Year’s Day, according to officials.
Carman, 25, of Princeton, was killed in a crash on Route 1 south near College Road around 2 a.m. It's unclear if anyone else was injured.
Murphy said Carman will be remembered as a kind and caring colleague.
The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information or surveillance footage of the area is asked to call Detective Justin Kowalczyk of the Plainsboro Police Department at 609-799-2333, ext.1644 or Detective Jim Alleva the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office at 732-745-4011.
