Long lines and crowded stores didn?t intimidate serious Bronx bargain shoppers on Black Friday.
Customers packed the stores as soon as they opened at 6 a.m. in some parts of the Bronx. A Kmart store even had extra workers to accommodate the large crowds looking to make their holiday purchases early.
Many shoppers say getting up early to shop on Black Friday is a tradition. Many don?t mind the long lines and crowds as long as they get good prices on big-ticket items.
