One local group has designed a plan to ease traffic problems in the Bronx.Members of the group Traffic Relief Coalition say Bronx streets need to be safer for pedestrians. They say the borough has been designed around cars and it is hurting the quality of life. Their plan includes widening sidewalks, increasing parking and adding more city buses.Members of the group say Mayor Michael Bloomberg (R-NYC) is expected to introduce his own plan to reduce traffic congestion in January. They say they hope he takes their advice into consideration.
