An Essex County school district says it will be closing early one day in April due to a solar eclipse.

A solar eclipse will be happening on April 8.

The Livingston School District says classes will get out early to avoid any danger to students

The district will have a half-day so that students aren’t tempted to look at the eclipse without protective eyewear.
