AMC, the world's largest movie theater chain, is expected to reopen 140 more theaters Friday, after the chain already opened more than 100 last month.

The latest reopening’s mean 70% of theaters will be open by Labor Day weekend, just in time for the anticipated film "Tenet,” which comes out tomorrow.
“Tenet” is one of the first big movies to hit theaters since the coronavirus pandemic struck. The film's international debut was last weekend.
Other major theater chains have been opening up as well.
