The Light of Day Foundation’s annual Winterfest event is using the power of music to fight Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses.
The foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about Parkinson’s disease, funding research and supporting those afflicted by the condition.
A wide array of musicians have performed at the festival each year, including greats such as Bruce Springsteen.
Light of Day Foundation executive director and co-founder Tony Pallagrosi says the event serves an important purpose.
"Music is healing. Music brings people together. Music makes people happy. Music also encourages people to support worthy causes,” he said.
Winterfest continues until the end of January.
