As America celebrates its Independence Day, some of New Jersey's bravest will be getting a very special honor.The Liberty Corner Fire Company will head to Washington, D.C. to take part in the Independence Day Parade. It is one of just two companies from the entire country that was invited to participate, the second being from Hershey, Pennsylvania. The firefighters gathered outside their station Monday to celebrate their invitation. In addition to marching in the parade, the company is also expected to get a tour of the White House.Liberty Corner's sister company, the Basking Ridge Fire Company, will be covering their fire calls while they are in the nation's capital.
