A Bronx high school had a packed house Wednesday when they held an admissions family workshop.
More than 500 people showed up to Lehman High School to learn all they can about the process of getting into high school.
Soon-to-be high school students and their families learned that starting the admissions process early is key, along with becoming good friends with guidance counselors.
Students and their parents were also told to look for what they want out of a high school, whether it be location, a certain club or specializing in arts.
Students were encouraged to visit high schools and attend their open houses to find out which one suits them best.
Though it may have been overwhelming for some students, they do say they are excited for high school.
