New legislation may expand New Jersey’s smoking ban to more outdoor areas.

The ban currently applies to parks and beaches.

The proposed legislation would include boardwalks, racetracks, amusement parks, historic sites and burial sites.

It is unclear if the bill will pass, but it does have some bipartisan support.
