All outdoor play areas at Grant Elementary School in East Trenton are temporarily closed after lead was found in the soil.
Mayor Reed Gusciora says that the city will be working with the Environmental Protection Agency to clean up the ground and provide testing for students.
"They can stay in the school because the blacktop area and the school itself serve as a natural buffer to the lead that's in the soil from the factories,” Gusciora says.

He says that if residents have concerns over lead in the area, they should contact the city to get the soil tested.
